A Whimsical Journey: The Story of trapezium
Trapezium follows the enchanting journey of Yū Higashi, a high school girl with dreams of becoming an idol. To pursue her aspirations, Yū sets four rules for herself: avoiding social media, refraining from dating, not drawing attention at school, and making friends with girls from different regions of Japan.
Actress Asaki Yuikawa will portray the protagonist, Yū Higashi, in the film adaptation, bringing the character to life with her talent and charm.
A Stellar Team Bringing Trapezium to Life
CloverWorks, known for their exceptional work in the anime industry, will be directing the film. Masahiro Shinohara, acclaimed for his contributions to series like Blend S and Is the order a rabbit?, will be at the helm. Koji Masunari, renowned for his storyboard work on Oshi no Ko and TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You, will supervise the project.
Yuuko Kakihara, a talented screenwriter known for her work on The Apothecary Diaries and Buddy Daddies, is responsible for the screenplay. Rio, recognized for their exceptional character designs in Sorcerous Stabber Orphen -Chaos in Urbanrama-, will be handling the character designs for trapezium. The novel was published by Kadokawa in November 2018, garnering praise and anticipation for its anime adaptation.
