Despite the unforeseen length of the series, the mangaka reassured fans that the conclusion is drawing near. “But fear not, the final chapter is not too far away. Even for a slow writer like me, there will come a time when the story reaches its conclusion. It may be late, but eventually, one must finish their work,” he added.

Vinland Saga: A Captivating Historical Manga

Vinland Saga is a Japanese historical manga series written and illustrated by Makoto Yukimura. The manga is published by Kodansha and initially serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine, a magazine targeted towards young boys. Later, it moved to Monthly Afternoon, a monthly manga magazine aimed at young adult men. To date, the series has been collected into 27 tankobon volumes, with over 7 million copies in circulation as of August 2022.
