The Irregular at Magic High School Spinoff Novel Gets Manga
Kadokawa’s Monthly Dengeki Daioh magazine announces that the spinoff novel of Tsutomu Satou’s The Irregular at Magic High School light novels, titled Mahouka: Yoru no Tobari ni Yami wa Hirameku, will receive a manga adaptation. The Irregular at Magic High School Spinoff Novel Gets Manga
Kadokawa’s Monthly Dengeki Daioh magazine has announced that the spinoff novel of Tsutomu Satou’s The Irregular at Magic High School light novels, titled Mahouka: Yoru no Tobari ni Yami wa Hirameku (The Irregular at Magic High School: Darkness Flashes Across the Curtain of Night), will be receiving a manga adaptation.

The manga will be illustrated by Yoshiyuki Ōkawa and will debut in the magazine’s July issue on May 27.
The spinoff novel focuses on the Kuroba sisters, who have sworn to protect Tatsuya Shiba. Their mission becomes more challenging when a foreign mafia enemy sets their sights on Tatsuya. The novel was launched in August of last year and has garnered a dedicated fanbase.
The Irregular at Magic High School Anime and Light Novel Series
The third season of The Irregular at Magic High School anime premiered on April 5 and is currently airing. The series follows the story of Tatsuya Shiba and his sister Miyuki as they navigate a world of magic and intrigue.
The original light novel series, written by Tsutomu Satou, began in 2008 and concluded with its 32nd volume in September 2020. Two sequels were released in October 2020 and January 2021.
The Irregular at Magic High School Anime Adaptation
The Irregular at Magic High School anime adaptation first premiered in April 2014 and ran for 26 episodes. A second season, titled The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc, aired in October 2020 for 13 episodes.
The franchise also includes a film titled The Irregular at Magic High School The Movie: The Girl Who Summons the Stars, which was released in Japan in June 2017. Additionally, a manga spinoff titled The Honor Student at Magic High School inspired a 13-episode TV anime that premiered in July 2021.
