Yatsuki Seimiya, a newly graduated herbalist, is engaged to famous hotel entrepreneur Hajime Keibi through family ties. Her life shatters when her parents die in a suspicious car explosion, soon after she receives a photo of Keibi with another woman. While sorting her parents’ belongings, she finds their herbal research notebook with key pages missing, now in Keibi’s possession, making her suspect foul play. Determined to uncover the truth, she takes a post as a school doctor in a remote village but proceeds with the wedding to stay close to him. Secretly, she vows never to forgive him if he’s behind her parents’ deaths. The confrontation begins just days before their marriage.
