‘Shira Ken!’, short for ‘Shiranai Koto Kenkyūkai’, is a new school parody manga. It draws inspiration from an original draft by Shiranui Kensetsu. Tsumumi, the illustrator responsible for works, lends their artistic skills to bring this humorous story to life.

The Shiranui Kensetsu sub-unit is a cherished part of the Hololive community. It includes five charismatic VTubers: Suisei Hoshimachi, Miko Sakura, Flare Shiranui, Polka Omaru, and Noel Shirogane. Their combined talents and engaging personalities have earned them a dedicated following among Hololive fans.

Expanding the Hololive Manga Universe

Hololive sub-units have inspired multiple manga adaptations, with ‘Shira Ken!’ being the latest example. Before this, the ‘HoloX MEETing!’ manga featured the ‘Secret Society holoX’ group from Hololive’s sixth generation and ran on the Shonen Jump+ service. This growing trend showcases the increasing influence of Hololive’s talented VTubers in the manga industry.

Since introducing its first generation of performers in 2018, Hololive has become a prominent virtual talent agency. With over 70 Virtual YouTubers under its umbrella, Hololive has achieved immense popularity within the VTuber community.

With the rising popularity, it is no surprise that their presence is expanding into forms of media like manga. Fans of Hololive and Shiranui Kensetsu can enjoy their favorite virtual talents in a new school parody manga, ‘Shira Ken!’
