Chained Soldier, based on the manga by Takahiro and Yōhei Takemura, has been confirmed to receive a second season. The announcement was made by the show’s staff, who also unveiled a teaser video and visual featuring.

Chained Soldier follows the story of Yūki, a young boy meets Kyōka Uzen, the captain of the 7th Anti-Demon Squad. In a world where a demonic gate has unleashed monsters called Shūki, only women possess the power to combat them through a special peach tree. The series is set in a battle fantasy world filled with action and adventure.

The anime features a talented voice cast, including Yūya Hirose as Yūki Wakura, Akari Kitō as Kyōka Uzen. And Yume as Himari Azuma, Mari Hino as Shushu Suruga, Hina Tachibana as Nei , Maaya Uchida as Tenka Izumo. Besides, Nene Hieda as Yachiho Azuma, Reina Ueda as Sahara Wakasa, Tomori Kusunoki as Aoba Wakura, Sayaka Senbongi as Koko Zenibako, and Rina Hidaka as Naon Yuno.

The anime is helmed by Junji Nishimura as the general director, with Gorō Kuji directing at Seven Arcs. Yasuhiro Nakanishi handles the series composition, while Ryōta Kanō and Akira Kindaichi contribute to the script. Hiroyuki Yoshii is responsible for character design, and Kaoru Nishimura oversees the color design. Kohta Yamamoto composes the music, and Chikako Yokota directs the sound.

The opening theme song for Chained Soldier is “Yume no Ito”, performed by Akari Kitō, while the ending theme song “CHA∞IN” is performed by Maaya Uchida.

The manga of Chained Soldier was first published on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ manga website in January 2019. With its engaging story and captivating characters, the anime adaptation has garnered a strong following.
