Calorie’s Love Affair Manga Wins Japan Cartoonists Association Award
Yuua Oda’s manga, Calorie’s Love Affair, has been announced as the winner of the grand prize in the Comic division at the 53rd Japan Cartoonists Association Awards. This prestigious award is presented annually by the Japan Cartoonists Association (JCA) to honor outstanding works in the field of manga.

In addition to the grand prize, Calorie’s Love Affair also received a gold plaque, medal, and a prize money of 500,000 yen (approximately US$3,260). The captivating story and unique artwork of this manga have captivated readers, earning it the prestigious recognition.
The Japan Cartoonists Association has been presenting these awards since 1972, recognizing exceptional contributions to the world of manga.
